Destructoid previews Mega Man #17.

The issue we’ve all been waiting for is here. The grand debut of PROTO MAN! And who has the scoop? Well Destructoid of course! Issue #17 should be hitting mailboxes any day now, kicking off the two-part origin story of everyone’s favorite red robot.

If these pages are any indication, this is going to be one awesome ride! Never before has the franchise gone into detail about Proto Man’s origin, so if anything, this earns points for being the first official interpretation! (But c’mon… Does anyone really doubt Archie will disappoint?)

Don’t forget that this issue also introduces Concrete Man in a special side-story starring Guts Man.
